How can shark survive after the fin has been taken away?
|
Shark-finning” is the practice of chopping off a shark’s fins, and dumping the animal back into the sea alive.
But they don't die peacefully. They are unable to swim properly, because they have no fins. Also, they will be bleeding profusely. The injured shark then drowns, suffocate, bleeds to death, or is an easy target for predators. |
